Realistically Boom won't kill UTTVM whilst infected.

I just want to real quick say this, He will NOT do that.

Remember what happened when Cathy "died"? Yeah, people were pissed. They were angry just because the death didn't need to happen and felt very unnecessary. Just imagine if he did that to a Titan... ☠️ Yeah, that would be VERY bad.

Killing off a fan favorite character almost always never ends well, which almost 90% of the time leading to said character being brought back in some way, shape or form.

In fact, I highly doubt Boom will even have the courage to kill off a Titan. Killing off a Titan is basically the equivalent to asking for a death sentence. Will Boom have UTTVM suffer mentally for a while? Yes. Yes, he will. But killing him off, No. He won't do that. If Cathy's death led to a ton of backlash, then killing off UTTVM while as the WOD would be even worse.

Not to mention, in a business perspective, letting UTTVM survive would also be good. You could actually be able to make some pretty awesome UTTVM 3.0 merch and stuff.

So, keeping UTTVM alive is overall the best thing you could do without much backlash. Hell, people have been pissed off by Ep. 79 being rushed, so yet again if he were to kill off a Titan, then it would probably be the last straw for many fans. (Including me.)

Yeah... he already threw tcm out of the series (temporarily maybe?) and doing this to another TITAN would seriously cause problems

I personally think that W.O.D. should die when the core hijacker comes off, I mean the damage has already been done and having a build up of hope during the battle for saving titan tv man just for it to end with "what was the point?"

A creator CANNOT change their series' entire plot just because the fans don't want their favorite character to die. Then the series will just stagnate and go through zero changes. Not killing off any major characters is the cowardly way out, so I hope at least one Titan does end up dying. It would add emotional depth to the series as well. Cathy's death was different because it didn't add anything to the plot.

This is a message to any fans in the future who get mad at Boom when their favorite character dies: Deal with it and stop whining.

(Also keep in mind that Boom shouldn't care about the fans whining anyway. Of course, they're probably still going to watch the show after one of their favorite characters dies, so who cares about what the little kids say?)

@RageHead2009 Yeah sorry, that would be terrible. Just killing him off like that is just the most unnecessary thing to do.

I don't think Boom plans to kill off UTTVM, but I also think that UTCM was retconned into being permanently dead (implied permanently dead by secret scene in s25, but in an earlier interview re: 76, the squad that went missing was confirmed to be chasing UTCM)
