73 (Flashback) Additional Scenes Season 25 (Flashback)

Dave was a Human character that appeared within a Flashback that Camerawoman was cycling through in Episode 73. Dave appears as an average human male with unkept features and ragged clothing, but had a dismissive yet friendly attitude towards people. It is believed that he was transformed into Plungerman before or early in the events of the series.

Appearance[]

Dave appears as a rather laid-back human with a messy attire alongside unkept hair. He wears a long black coat with a pair of black slacks that is complete with two pairs of shoes.

In season 25, his appearance slightly changed. He now wears a black shirt with a red tie tucked into a black vest and a watch on his left wrist. He also wears glasses and wields two crowbars.

Personality[]

From the very brief glimpse into Dave's time, he is shown to be rather a laid-back Human male with a dismissive attitude. Though, underneath that dismissive exterior is a more mellow person as shown when he initially rejected Cathy's request to turn back to look at the camcorder, but would then secretly give said camera a thumbs-up whilst no one was looking, most likely trying to look serious to impress Cathy. This small gesture would be a behavior that all Cameramen would replicate as fashion of their faction in the future.

Dave would make his first appearance in this episode, where he would be seen alongside Cathy and other employees. Cathy decided to record the moment, during which she told Dave to look back at the camera. He refused at first, but a few seconds later, he looked at the camera and gave a thumbs-up. All of this was visible through a recording by Plungerwoman after the events of episode 70.

Season 25 Compilation[]

"Don't worry... I'll be okay... I promise." — Dave, after told him that trying to save the others could be dangerous. — "*Don't worry... I'll be okay... I promise.*" — Dave, after Cathy told him that trying to save the others could be dangerous.

In one of the additional scenes of season 25, Dave would appear in a dreamlike vision of Plungerwoman, which would later turn into a vivid memory. In this memory, Plungerwoman, as Cathy, would recall how, after fainting, Dave woke her up, and she saw that the laboratories were in a deplorable state after a threat had been unleashed in the area. She and Dave would explore the place, hearing strange noises. Dave decided to investigate, and although Cathy told him not to go, he refused, saying that no one could be left behind.

Trivia[]

His face model is a slightly edited Leon Kennedy from the Resident Evil 4 Remake.
In the opening scene of the Season 25 compilation, he wields two crowbars, a clear reference to his signature duel-wielding plungers as Plungerman.
Dave has been around since 1985 as evidenced by the flashback sequence in Episode 73, and during that point, he was friends with Cathy, who would later turn into Plungerwoman.
- During 1985, he was already an adult before his transition into becoming Plungerman.
