Recording is an ability to convert live footage into one that is permanent and reproducible. In the Skibidi Toilet series, Recording only appears in the Cameraman faction, and there is a possibility that certain Skibidi Toilets can also record live feed.

List of Characters that can record[]

All characters can see, however only certain characters can record:

Cameramen[]

TV Men[]

Skibidi Toilets[]

There are no known cases of Skibidi Toilets recording. However, it is hypothesized that users of the Heavy Duty Vision Goggles can also transmit footage of their point of view to the Scientist Skibidi Toilet. If so, these characters would be:

Titans[]

Saving Recording Methods[]

Giving Lens[]

In Episode 68 the Blue Shirt Very Large Cameraman gave his Lens to the POV-Cameraman, it could be probably so he and other Alliance Members see all that he managed to record.

Utilization Methods[]

Recording can be displayed in a variety of ways, such as:

Normal[]

Normal recording is what we see during almost every Episode, excluding Episode 51. There are no visual changes, such as a frame or a tint. The recording follows where the POV-Cameraman's head moves.

Blue Tint + Frame[]

It is shown during Episode 51 that the Titan Cameraman can record as well. Unlike the other Cameramen, the footage from the Titan Cameraman is tinted blue and has a frame. (Probably because of the Lens he uses)

Trivia[]

  • Only the Cameramen have the ability to record.
    • The scope for the Camera Strider may be for aiming the turret instead.
  • It is unknown how the POV-Cameramen give us footage for the battles, plot-wise.
    • It could be possible that the POV is uploaded to a database where other Alliance members observe what has happened.

These are errors that can be caused when recording. There are specific reasons why these errors happen. Despite the camera still being able to record, the recording can can sometimes be blurry or not clear. They are mostly caused by the The Administrator.

Error Types[]

Camera Offline[]

The "Camera Offline" error happens when the POV-Cameraman is dead, which implies that the camera is offline. The first time we've seen this happen was in Episode 70, when Plungerman died. This also happened in Episode 76.

Connection Lost[]

The "Connection Lost" error occurs when the POV-Cameraman is unable to record/transmit data.

Transmission Error[]

Transmission Errors occur when the POV-Cameraman is unable to transmit recordings, typically occurring when the Administrator is nearby. However, this issue did not occur in episodes leading up to Skibidi Toilet 70. The first time we saw a Transmission Error was in Episode 68, when Plungerman leaned in to inspect the production line.

Recording Errors[]

Recording Errors occur when the POV-Cameraman is not able to record. Similarly to Transmission Errors, this error occurs when the Administrator is nearby.

Critical Damage[]

The Critical Damage error occurs when the POV-Cameraman is suffering heavy injuries.
