The Shedder Astro Toilet is an Astro Toilet that was only seen for a short time in Episode 79. He followed Large TV Man into the void after Hunter Astro Mutant placed tracking devices around the area.
Appearance[]
The Shedder's appearance shares similarities to an Obliterator Astro Toilet, each wearing a chin-strap helmet and residing in a large gray toilet with two pairs of gigantic aerofoil wings, consisting of layers of reinforced metal plates with antennas at the top and bottom. Additional X-wings are also featured with visible red lights at the edges while blocky metal armor covers the front of the toilet for extra durability, with a set of spotlights affixed underneath and a rotating energy-cell levitator for channeling energy. The differences are two gigantic rotary energy-cell plasma cannons under the wings and two smaller plasma cannons at the ventral base.
Abilities[]
Combat[]
Biting, Crushing, & Ramming[]
Each Shedder Astro Toilet is capable of biting off parts/weapons from his enemies at close-combat range and accelerating at high speeds to ram, crush, and throw-off anything in his path. Combined with his giant size and massive wingspan, the impact can even knock back Titan-level opponents.
Twin Tri-Rotary Plasma Cannons and Twin Plasma Emitters[]
Each of the two main plasma cannons feature multiple barrels rotating around a central axis, successively firing plasma projectiles as each barrel aligns with the firing position. Similar to the Specialist, the design concept allows for a high rate of fire and reduces the heating of the barrels during continuous firing, making it highly effective against groups of small enemies. Furthermore, the two main weapons have an energy-cell levitator at the back. Conveniently rotating to fold backwards, they also function as additional rocket-boosters that help propel the Astro, similar to the Destructor Astro Toilet. There are also a pair of additional plasma cannons at the ventral base that provide extra firepower.
Defense[]
Standard Helmet, Heavy Metal Plates, & Multilayered Wings[]
Like the Obliterator predecessor, the front of the Shedder's toilet bowl is covered in protective armor which he can retract his head into to reduce any incoming damage taken. His helmet also comes equipped with an automatic visor against screen-based attacks, while each side feature two large V-shaped wings composed of an extremely durable framework of reinforced metal plates. This unusual yet practical design greatly reduces the Astro's weight and energy consumption, which can put stress on the entire aircraft structure and damage it. In addition, the slats at the edges allow lift increase drag, which allows the Astro to easily accelerate/decelerate and land properly, generating the necessary upward force in takeoff at shorter distances. Meanwhile, the visible red lights at the edges of the four smaller X-wings provide aerial navigation, directional steering, and signal approach.
Movement[]
Advanced Warp Flight[]
Like all the other Astro Toilets, He possesses the inherent ability to levitate and maneuver through the air without the need for visible propellers, jetpacks, or other physical means. This adjusts his altitude and speed with great precision, allowing his to maneuver through tight spaces or perform complex aerial maneuvers useful in most environments. This provides a significant tactical advantage in combat situations, enabling him to perform concealed ambush attacks from unexpected angles.
Energy Cell Levitator[]
A prominent spinning circular-shaped energy cell on the front, with two additional cells at the back of the main weaponry, similar to the ones found on the Troop and Specialist Astro Toilets' battery packs. This not only charges up his weapons but also allows him to control his levitational distance from the ground and accelerate to indeterminably high speeds to quickly cover distances within a short amount of time.
Trivia[]
- Their appearance is similar to Obliterator Astro Toilet with primary horizontal wings, smaller X-formation wings, and an energy cell.
- Similar to how the Impactor Astro Toilets act as superior unit for Strider Astro Toilets, the Shedder Astro Toilet seems to be a more advanced counterpart of Obliterator Astro Toilets.
