STW:RULES

These are the rules to follow while using the Skibidi Toilet Wiki. These rules, as well as the Manual of Style, the Discussions Guidelines, and Fandom's Terms of Use, are the general basis for what isn't allowed here. Punishments will still be conducted on a case-by-case basis, meaning they may not always match what is stated here, and repeated or more severe violations will result in a harsher punishment.

Last updated: 12/22/2024, by Ena414 – New no-offtopic rule.

If you were punished for something not listed here, it doesn't mean you did nothing wrong. If you believe there is an unfair rule, or if you found that a rule is missing, contact a wiki staff member on their Message Wall or Discord account (if they have an account).

Infraction Types

  • Reminders are given to a user for a minor/first-time offense. They do not count toward a more severe punishment, meaning the said user isn't necessarily in trouble. However, they are used to determine if a future infraction counts as a first-time offense.
    • Verbal Reminders may be used instead of reminders for very minor/first-time offenses.
  • Warnings firmly tell a user to stop. They are recorded and count towards a block. Getting three or four warnings will usually result in a block. The number of warnings given before a block depends on the time frame between the warnings as well as the severity of the offense(s).
    • Severe Warnings are given to users who have made a severe violation. Any further infractions after receiving this will usually result in a block.
    • Final Warnings are given to users who have repeatedly violated the rules and only have one more chance before receiving a block.
  • Blocks are given for severe offenses or numerous infractions. They temporarily prevent a user from participating in the wiki. The block time will vary depending on the reason.
  • Bans/Indefinite Blocks block a user permanently from the wiki.
  • Global Blocks block a user across the Fandom network, preventing them from interacting with any wiki on the platform. These blocks are given to users who have broken the rules across multiple wikis or have committed extremely severe offenses. Note that these cannot be directly performed by wiki staff members; only Fandom staff, Wiki Representatives, SOAP, etc. can perform these blocks.

General Statements

  • Along with following all the rules below, make sure you are following Fandom's Terms of Use.
  • You are not allowed to use the wiki or its forums if you are below the age of 13 (or 16 if you are in the European Economic Area or the state of California). Any jokes about this will not be tolerated.
  • You are not allowed to share/trade Fandom accounts. Doing so will result in an immediate warning or block.
  • If you see someone violating Fandom's Terms of Use or our rules, do not attempt to hide this from the wiki staff. If this is found out, you will be met with a severe warning or block.
  • Editors aren't and will not be paid for contributions, as editing is voluntary.
  • Do not delete reminders or warnings from your Message Wall, as it makes it harder for wiki staff to monitor users. Staff can still bring back your infraction, and you'll receive an additional infraction. Please read the "Appeal" section at the bottom of this article if you want an infraction removed.
    • The only exception to this is verbal reminders.
  • Do not impersonate anyone. This could cause confusion.
  • Unless otherwise stated on a specific rule, there are no exceptions to the rules. They should not be interpreted falsely just to meet your preferences. Do not try to make excuses for a user if they have violated a rule.

Discussion, Commenting, and Messaging Rules

Shortcut

STW:CHAT

There are a select amount of rules to follow while conversing on the wiki. Please follow them; they are crucial to a peaceful and organized community.

User Conduct

Be respectful to others. Keep discussions civil and do not get heated if someone has a different opinion. It is better to say nothing at all than reply with something unkind. Do not start or encourage toxicity, drama, harassment, bullying, or anything else that may result in a squabble between users; otherwise, you may be met with a warning.

Profanity, NSFW Content, and Slurs

While profanity is allowed on this wiki, excessive use and using it against others is not allowed (not even as a joke). Do not post or link to anything NSFW-related either, and do not seduce other users or encourage it among users. Abbreviations and emojis encouraging NSFW activity aren't allowed either. Slurs and discriminatory language, whether they're a joke or not, are also not allowed.

Posts and images containing anything that shows or promotes extremist views (such as Nazism) will result in a warning.

Post Quality

Posts must be relevant to the Skibidi Toilet series or the Skibidi Toilet Wiki, as agreed in this post. Posts should also be neatly formatted and of good quality. A post should meet at least one of the following criteria:

  1. It is a question or request for help regarding the series or the wiki.
  2. It is informative regarding the series or any issue surrounding the series.
  3. It is considered funny and entertaining by the majority of wiki users.
  4. It has a lot of time and effort put into it (such as creative writing or artwork).

If your posts fail to meet any of the above criteria, they will be removed at the soonest possible moment, and excessive creation of such posts may result in a warning.

"Who would win?" Polls

Do not post obvious or one-sided "Who would win?" (or "WWW") polls, as they will be seen as low-effort and get deleted. Only fair WWW polls may be posted. A WWW poll is considered fair if it requires some thinking and debate to decide who would win and is deemed so by the majority of wiki users and staff.

Pride, Religion, Politics, and Sensitive Topics

Do not discuss your opinions regarding religion (Islam, Christianity, Hinduism, Judaism, etc.), pride (sex, gender, orientation, etc.), and politics (ongoing real-life wars and conflicts), or sensitive topics (such as 9/11). These topics are highly controversial and can lead to arguments between users as well as stirring up drama. This may result in a warning or a block.

Gore

Do not send or post gory images anywhere in the wiki. Verbal gore is permitted but still must be limited.

Media

Do not send or link to videos or GIFs with bright, flashing lights. People with photosensitive epilepsy may have seizures from such displays. Additionally, do not send any kind of media that violates the wiki's other rules even if it was made by DaFuq!?Boom! himself. It's okay to post fan art, but please keep it appropriate. Ship art is permitted in certain cases if the art is not suggestive or of a sexual nature. If any users are shipped, the users must consent to being shipped.

Trolling and Raiding

Trolling on this wiki is prohibited. Do not plan or attempt raids on other wikis or this wiki. Trolling or raiding will result in an imminent permanent block and a possible report to Fandom staff (resulting in a global block). Threats to raid this wiki, whether they are here or on another wiki, will also not be tolerated.

Feeding the Trolls

"Don't feed the trolls." In other words, when you see a troll, don't feed them with emotional responses, overreactions, and other heated replies. The trolls are looking for attention, and any reaction you give them is exactly what they want. Instead, calmly report them to a wiki staff member or a member of the Fandom staff team, and they'll take care of it.

This is important: Do not ping a staff member to the post. Instead, go to the staff member's Message Wall and message them instead.

Spamming

Do not post anything excessively. A glitch sometimes occurs when something is posted multiple times when not intended. This is excused; however, wiki staff can easily tell if it's meant to be flooding, and they will use their best judgment.

Posts Within a 24-Hour Window

You are only allowed to create 5 posts in the Discussions in any 24-hour window; any more will be considered spam and result in a reminder. Messages, comments, and replies to posts do not count toward this limit.

Consecutive Posts

Do not make multiple posts in quick succession. After posting, wait for another user to post before you can post again. This ensures fair participation and prevents discussion flooding.

Mini-Modding and Asking for Roles

Do not mini-mod. "Mini-modding" is attempting to enforce the rules or threaten users with blocks/infractions while not being part of the staff team. Showing them the rules is fine. However, if a user breaks the rules, contact a wiki staff member. Do not ask to be a wiki staff member, as doing that shows you aren't fit to be one. When we think someone deserves a promotion, we'll approach them, not the other way around.

Do not post scams or malicious links. If you fall for a scam, the wiki staff are not responsible for lost currency/items.

Advertisement is allowed but not excessively. Advertisements that lead to domains that go against our rules will be deleted and result in a block. We don't count sending links to YouTube videos as advertising unless the sender tells people to like, subscribe, etc.

Necro-Posting

Do not reply to discussion posts that haven't been responded to in a week. Certain posts are an exception to this if permitted by a wiki staff member. Article Comments and Blog Comments do not count toward necro-posting because they automatically lock after 14 days. Message Walls also do not count toward necro-posting. If you want a post locked, contact a wiki thread moderator or administrator.

Grave Taunting

Do not taunt or bully anyone if they receive an infraction or get blocked from the wiki. This could cause unnecessary drama and will result in you receiving an infraction as well.

Languages

This wiki is primarily an English-speaking wiki. Please refrain from using a language that staff cannot understand. You may only speak a different language if an active wiki staff member understands the language. Minor speech (such as "Hola," "Adios," etc.) is acceptable but still should not be done excessively.

If you want to use other languages, consider checking out our affiliated wikis in the top navigation (AFFILIATED WIKISOther Languages).

Editing Policies

Shortcut

STW:EDIT

These are our policies for editing on the wiki.
They are widely accepted standards that all editors should normally follow. They should not be confused with guidelines on editing (generally accepted standards that editors should attempt to follow, though occasional exceptions may apply) on the Manual of Style.

Users are expected to follow these rules to ensure an organized editorial community.

Factual Information Only

Pages on the wiki should only contain factual information which can be confirmed with certainty. Do not add theories or theoretical information to wiki pages no matter how plausible a theory is.

Editing Others' Pages

Do not edit others' user pages, sandbox pages, or Message Wall greetings without permission, even if you're making a constructive edit. The only exceptions to this are if a user is undoing the edits of someone else who edited the page without permission or removing content that breaks the rules. wiki staff members reserve the right to edit other users' pages if they believe they need to.

Edit Farming

Users are not allowed to edit farm (making unnecessary or excessive edits to a page). This can be bypassed if a user is editing their profile or blog post, a staff member is editing an important page (Wiki rules page, Wiki staff page, a template page, the top navigation, etc.), or a user is reverting repeated vandalism.

Creating useless pages and making useless, non-vandalism edits may also be seen as edit farming. Please add everything in one edit or it will count as edit farming depending on how many times you have done it.

Perspective

While editing a page, please use a third-person perspective. This means avoiding terms such as "you," "I," or "we." User pages, blog posts, and sandboxes are the only exceptions, and any sort of opinions are to be taken from a neutral point of view, with no bias.

Vandalism

Do not vandalize pages on the wiki, whether they are user pages or actual articles. The resulting block duration will depend on how frequent and damaging the vandalism is. Vandalism will result in an indefinite block if:

  • It is intentional or severe.
  • It is one of your first edits, in which it will be treated as trolling regardless of the type of vandalism.

Long Names

Making excessive, long page names also counts as vandalism.

Edit Warring

Do not engage in edit wars. Edit wars are when people keep reverting edits back and forth on a page. If you are unsure about an edit someone made, calmly try to resolve it on their Message Wall. If it still cannot be resolved, make a poll in the Discussions so the community can decide which edit seems valid. Severe edit wars may result in a block from the wiki without warning.

File warring is also frowned upon on the wiki and may result in the users involved being blocked from using files on the wiki and editing anything in the File namespace.

Abuse Filter

We have Abuse Filters in place to help prevent and reduce problems across pages. Attempts to bypass the abuse filter will result in punishment.

Disallowed Edits

When editing, you may be stopped from saving a page by one of these filters due to something you added in your edit or edit summary, AKA a "disallowed" edit. If a filter disallowed your edit and you believe your edit was constructive, please inform a wiki administrator of what you were trying to do. Do not attempt to bypass a filter if it disallows your edits; instead, correct or remove any problematic content you may have added to the page (which may be shown or explained in the error message).

Warned Edits

When editing, a filter may stop you from saving a page but still allow you to save it. Before continuing and saving the page, however, please carefully read the message the filter provides and make the necessary changes to the page. Do not ignore the filter's messages, or you may be punished.

Accounts

These are the rules your account needs to follow (besides Fandom's ToU) if you want to use the wiki.

Usernames, PFPs, and Mastheads

Do not present yourself with an inappropriate username, profile picture, or masthead. If you are caught with any of these, you will be blocked until you change the things you are asked to change. If the things are too malicious, you may not be unblocked even after changing them.

Multiple Accounts

Using multiple accounts on the wiki is allowed, but using them for malicious purposes is strictly prohibited. Using multiple accounts to rig important polls or bypass the Posts Within a 24-Hour Window rule is also not allowed.

Sockpuppetry

Using an account to troll on or vandalize the wiki will result in a permanent block. If the sockpuppet owner's main account is found with firm proof that it's theirs, that also will be permanently blocked.

Block Evasion

Do not attempt to evade a block given to you by creating a new account. If you are caught, all your found alternate accounts will be blocked, and your main account will receive an extension if it's proven you are the same person. If your original block reasons and durations are malicious enough or you have block evaded for the second time, all your found accounts will be blocked indefinitely. There are no exceptions to this, not even if you want to appeal a block. If you want to appeal a block, read the Appeal section.

Sending messages or content on behalf of a blocked user counts as minor block evasion and will result in a reminder.

Appeal

Shortcut

STW:APPEAL

If you have a reminder or warning on your Message Wall and you want it removed, you may appeal it by reaching out to a wiki staff member on their Message Wall (the infraction must be incorrectly given to get it removed). If you are blocked and believe it is unfair, please contact wiki staff via Discord or Community Central, or leave a message on your Message Wall if you aren't blocked from using it. If you are blocked across the Fandom network, you can appeal here.
