Info
The Administrator's Masterkey, also known as the Hijack Device, is a device held by the Lucky Cameraman, which was given to him by The Administrator. It is an extremely useful and versatile tool capable of operating machinery without requiring any clearance.
Appearance[]
In Episode 68, the Personal Master Key did not have a physical appearance and only manifested as a green bolt of electricity emitted from the Lucky Cameraman's fingertip.
When it appears as a physical object, it resembles a remote control with various buttons and panels, and it projects a green beam of electricity when used.
Functionality[]
Hijack Mechanics[]
When in use, the device fires a green bolt of electricity toward a target machine to control it. This is commonly used for doors, as seen in Alpha-Hills Labs, where it can either open or close them. In Episode 70 (Part 3), it demonstrated the ability to hijack heavy machinery, such as disabling laser cannons, and even interfered with the console of the Chief Scientist Skibidi Toilet, preventing his early escape.
Hijack Reversal[]
The Personal Master Key is capable of undoing its own hijack effects. This is demonstrated in Episode 70, when the Chief Scientist Skibidi Toilet uses the Hijack Device to un-hijack his console, allowing him to prepare for his escape once again.
Teleportation[]
When in use, the device might have the ability to teleport the user to another location, leaving behind a green smoke at both the original and teleported positions. Alternatively, it could not leave any green smoke if the device is instead turning invisible, or this could be an entirely separate invisibility ability.
Creation[]
It is unknown how the The Administrator's Masterkey was created. The device was presumably crafted by The Administrator, or possibly by his employers or faction. The device was granted to the Lucky Cameraman just moments before the events of Episode 67 by The Administrator.
Aliases[]
- Personal Master Key (by The Administrator)
Trivia[]
- The color of the The Administrator's Masterkey's bolt of electricity shares similarities with The Administrator's green glow.
- It is the only technology that is capable of hijacking. (This may or may not have been disproven, as during the climax of Episode 69's full episode, an Engineer Cameraman/Medic Cameraman can be seen opening the gate to the Alpha-Hills Labs.)
- This theory is slightly disproven, as Engineers presumably manually wired the gate to open, and the Masterkey was seen in Episode 70 to affect other machinery that are not doors.
- This device is based off of the EMP Tool from Half Life 2, which can open locked doors, hack combine devices, etc. (Only based off of the opening locked doors ability).
- Chief Scientist Skibidi Toilet dropped the Masterkey before getting killed, meaning it might be taken by Detective Cameraman to investigate.
- But this is very unlikely, since we see that the Green Suited Cameraman gave something to The Administrator in his office while he was talking to Plungerman.
